Time Is Running Out.. !
All food business operators across the country have to obtain a license or registration by February 4 this year as per orders of the Food Safety and Standard Authority of India (FSSAI).
From street vendors to big stores, all have to get a license or secure registration by February 4, 2014.

6. 100 % Export Oriented Units.
7. Importers importing food items including food ingredients and additives for commercial use.
8. FSSAI sticks to February 4, 2014 as the last date for Registration & Licensing
FSSAI has decided not to
allow further extension for the Licensing & Registration of all food
businesses under the new act. The Food Safety and Standards Authority of India (fssai) has said that the
last date has already been deferred twice in the past on request of Food
Business Operators (FBOs).
